What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They help a site remember your choices, keep it secure, and understand how it is used. First-party cookies are set by reika.co. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose tools run on our pages. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser, and persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
How we ask for your consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Until you accept, we only use the cookies strictly needed to run and secure the site. You can change your mind at any time with the small cookie icon at the bottom of the page, and your choice is remembered for 12 months.
Cookies we use
Always on (strictly necessary)
- cookieyes-consent (reika.co): remembers your cookie choices. 12 months.
- cf_clearance (Cloudflare): shows that your browser passed Cloudflare’s security check, which protects the site from abusive traffic. Up to 12 months.
Only after you accept (functional, analytics and marketing)
- HubSpot (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc, messagesUtk): recognise your browser so we can understand visits and handle enquiries or report requests you send us through HubSpot tools. From the end of the visit up to 6 months.
- Google Ads (_gcl_au, and related Google or DoubleClick cookies): measure whether our ads lead to visits. Up to 3 months.
- Meta pixel (_fbp): measures the effect of our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Up to 3 months.
- Cloudflare bot management (__cf_bm) on some HubSpot connections: tells humans from bots. About 30 minutes.
Tools that load without setting cookies
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-friendly traffic statistics. It does not use cookies or track you across sites.
- Website Carbon and Tree-Nation widgets in the footer: show the carbon footprint of this site and our tree planting. They are loaded from their providers’ servers, so those providers can see your IP address when the page loads.
Third parties
Some tools are run by other companies, such as HubSpot, Google, Meta and Cloudflare. They act under their own privacy policies and may process data outside Vietnam, for example in Singapore, the European Union or the United States. We do not control how they use cookies, so please check their policies as well.
How to manage cookies
- Use the cookie icon on this site to change your choices at any time.
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Each browser explains how, and blocking all cookies may stop parts of a site from working.
- Use your browser’s Do Not Track or tracking-protection options, or the opt-out pages of the advertising networks.
