2026 Deloitte – 2026 Gen Z and Millennial Survey: Progress on Their Own Terms

Credit: Deloitte Global

Deloitte Global 2026 Gen Z and Millennial Survey: Progress on Their Own Terms is the fifteenth annual edition of Deloitte’s survey of younger workers, released in May 2026. It reflects the views of more than 22,500 Gen Z and millennial respondents across 44 countries, supplemented by qualitative interviews with business leaders across markets.

The report finds that cost of living has been the top concern for the fifth year running and that nearly half of respondents live paycheck to paycheck. About three in four respondents use AI in their daily work, while leadership ambitions depend on flexibility, clarity of paths and well-being. It is useful for HR leaders, employers and managers planning how to attract and retain younger staff.

What’s inside:

  • A letter from Deloitte’s Chief People and Purpose Officer
  • Executive summary on financial pressure, leadership ambitions and AI adoption
  • Findings on mental health and stress
  • Survey scope and qualitative interviews with business leaders
